Hotel-Restaurant Normandie in Schildow

I and my parents ordered a whole goose and a duck there. Plus red cabbage, kale and dumplings. The duck was juicy and delicious. Red cabbage and kale were outstanding. The dumplings were very, very tasty and all were quick. Unfortunately, the goose was a little too dry for me, but it tasted great. But still highly recommended. So far I have only been able to test the food. But you should also be in very good hands in the hotel. Keep it up !

Great restaurant nearby lovely nature, horse riding school, active place, loved it there.. had new taxi style ride to there thnx to friends. Recomend visit and walking trough nature, woods

In November 2020 you can also pick up delicious food to go. Today there was a warm cranberry crumble cake with vanilla sauce and a great cappuccino.

Despite Corona, there is still food to pick up and from 50 € even on the doorstep: D Food is fantastic as always and arrived super warm and fresh! Thank you so much!

I've been here quite a few times. The food is very good. The operating staff is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I find the selection of wines by the glass very poor, varieties from the discounter at "pharmacist prices". Too bad.

Delicious. Very friendly service. Fine dishes with great sauces and frog legs are served here. The wine list can be expanded. The situation rather jwd. Overnight accommodation in nice hotel rooms. It's worth a visit.

Family atmosphere. Room decor with a slight French touch. French-style à la carte dining. Highly recommended. Very good service. Gladly again!! 👍

The food was always a revelation, which everyone we ate and drank there with confirmed in unison. There is nothing to complain about about the hotel either. I'm looking forward to the next time.

Very cozy, very nice service, came by bike (Wall bike path), unfortunately shortly after the kitchen closed but we got something small! That was super nice (thanks). Nobody had to go to bed hungry. Rooms are very functional and cozy. I can only recommend it, especially if you drive the wall bike path. Is the middle, so perfectly located.

First of all, the stars are for the very friendly service. We were expecting rustic Norman cuisine. Rump steak, schnitzel and (albeit homemade) fries doesn't have much to do with Normandy for me. Well, we chose breaded cod fillet and, so trendy, fresh salmon fillet. It wasn't exactly the typical Normandy cuisine, but it was fish. Both came "fresh" from the discounter packaging unseasoned and roasted on the plate. We were delighted to have given up the oysters we had originally intended as a starter. But as mentioned, our service staff was really nice.

There are plenty of seats both inside and outside. Very friendly staff. And the food left nothing to be desired. Pricing is also okay. And then a walk in the Eichwerder moor meadows is recommended. Wonderful.

Nice motivated staff who offer good food (cake, duck, ice cream, fries) and drinks (draft beer, coffee) to take away in perfect restaurant quality.

I went there for Valentine's Day with my wife yesterday and we had the four course meal. I of the meat and my wife the fish menu. Must say we have rarely eaten so well. The service was super nice, competent and very attentive to questions. The ambience is excellent. Probably our regular restaurant.

We were very satisfied. The prices justify the service and especially the cuisine. Brandenburg trout, unsurpassed. We recommend.

Very welcoming hosts/owners, small town vibe not far from the big capital city. We stayed in the hotel for 5 days while attending a funeral. We had a top floor room with a 4-poster "Himmelbett", feather beds, very cozy. Breakfast is a little monotonous after a few days compared to some other German hotels I've visited (cheese, cold cuts, rolls, butter, jam, OJ, coffee, optional boiled egg), but the quality is fine. Food at other meals is French, very rich and not much vegetarian, but well prepared for what it is.

Unfortunately, very dissatisfied, lamb was raw and that 2x, so no coincidence. The Greek tasted better. Then forget about second coke, although few guests, 4 dishes and drinks 100 €, we will not be back!

Mon dieu - France pure in Schildow 😊 Food and drinks excellent, attentive and super friendly service. The restaurant is packed with memorabilia of all sorts - maybe not everyone likes it, but it makes for a cozy atmosphere! Garden area with seats also available. Moreover, Normandy is a hotel! Conclusion: wonderful family business - always happy!
